Zoink, We found a hidden bookcase
Last night I went to the Twins game, which went by really fast. My dad really wanted tickets, but since it sold out awhile ago, we got a box. I guess it was a 50th birthday party for him...even though his birthday was quite awhile ago. Anyways, it was the weirdest group of people, a random mishmash of relatives from both sides of my family. I sat in the front row, which was a good seat, but my cousin Sam drank 7 Mountain Dews, which explains himself (plus I was stuck in the corner and couldn't really get out to get food, it was a real adventure when I tried). After the game (we were so close to winning!!) my cousin Peter and I decided to rip our Twins calendars apart and make paper airplanes. I failed miserably, but it wasn't all my incapability that held me back. There was a wind tunnel effect going on that pushed the airplanes back towards us, I know, how disapointing. I actually had one that soared backwards and hit me in the head...We ended up frustrated and just crumpled up pages and threw them, hoping they would land in the cupholders of the seats below. Alas...they didn't.
While we were walking out of the metrodome, two of my cousins didn't know about the suction affect that happens, so they were thrown out the door. Oh, it was hilarious.
Anyways, lingering in the dome probably wasn't a great idea because we got stuck in traffic on the top floor of the parking ramp for about an hour. Really fun. We finally got on the subject of the moving bookcases in the new library, which is where the title for this entry came from. Once the cars started moving and we were able to get to the traffic on the street, the guy in the the car next to us was yelling with his fists in the air "FREE AT LAST!!! I'M FREEEE". I love little things like that.
